Reporting a problem

If a chart comes out wrong, it helps enormously to know exactly how the data was laid out. A useful report includes:

• the browser and operating system (e.g. Safari 18 on macOS);
• the chart type you were using, and whether you pasted or typed the data;
• the shape of the data — a small example with the same layout is enough. Never send real customer data or anything confidential; replace the numbers with dummy values.
• what you expected, and what appeared instead.

Please do not email the actual dataset unless it is a toy example. Because nothing is stored on our side, a pasted table is also not something we can look up afterwards.

Feature requests

Tell us what you were trying to do, not only which button you want. “I need to show revenue against target per region” is more useful than “add a chart type”, because it lets us check whether an existing chart already solves it.

Advertising and privacy

Questions about ads can go to the same address. For what the site does and does not collect, see the Privacy Policy. For the rules of using the site, see the Terms of Use.

What we cannot help with

• Recovering a chart or a pasted table. Nothing is stored, so there is nothing to recover — download the file before closing the tab.
• Spreadsheet formulas, file corruption or Excel installation problems. Those are outside the tool.

Response time

This is a small project, so replies usually take a few business days. Bug reports with a reproducible example are answered first.
